Ian Bragger ACA

Ian is a Chartered Accountant and joined Harris+Co in 2005 after graduating from The University of Sheffield with a First Class Honours Degree. He works with owner managed businesses on accounts preparation, VAT and tax planning. He has also worked with start up businesses and has run courses locally, and prepared online webinars, to provide start up entrepreneurs with advice and guidance on business start up issues. Ian also carries out statutory audit work for medium sized clients with an annual turnover of £10m and above. He also has developed experience and knowledge of Academy Schools having managed a portfolio of Academy School clients since the sector began to grow in 2012.

Ian also helps in the local business community by volunteering in a number of roles. Since 2013 he has helped to run JCI Barnsley, a young professionals development organisation, which actively seeks to provide people in their 20s and 30s with extra skills to be used in the workplace. As a JCI member graduate, he has won local and national awards. In early 2016 he became the JCI Barnsley representative on the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce Representation Council, which is the main policy discussion and decision making body for the Chamber and consists of representatives from member businesses.
