James Burland

James has been with the practice since 1996, starting as a trainee and later qualifying as an ACCA member in 2003 before becoming a fellow member in 2008. James has gained a wide variety of experience in accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, management accounts and company/personal taxation over the years and is also involved in specialist reporting areas such as Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, FCA Gabriel reporting and Auto Enrolment. Due to the wide variety of work to which he has been exposed, James has experience with multiple computerised systems including most Sage products (Accounts, Payroll and Budgeting), Quickbooks, Xero, Pegasus and Iris, together with a host of other smaller, bespoke systems.

In his spare time James is a family man that enjoys supporting his young family.
